El Señor de los Cielos
''El Señor de los Cielos'' (English title: ''The Lord of the Skies''),〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.telemundo.com/telemundo-internacional/2014/10/25/el-senor-de-los-cielos-lord-skies )〕 is an American telenovela co-produced by Argos Comunicación and Telemundo. The first season of the series was co-produced by Telemundo and Caracol Televisión. The series is based on the life and work of Amado Carrillo Fuentes.
The executive producers of the show are Marcela Mejía, Martha Godoy, and Joshua Mintz. Juan Manuel Andrade, Mariano Calasso, Jorge Cervantes, Iris Dubs, Andrés López, Carmina Narro, Guillermo Ríos, Laura Sosa and Luis Zelkowicz as the original series writers. And directed by Danny Gavidia, Walter Doehner, José Luis García Agraz and Carlos Villegas.
''El Señor de los Cielos'' premiered in United States on April 15, 2013. The first season had a total of 74 episodes, the season two had 84 episodes, while season three had 104 episodes it is the first super series produced by Telemundo in having 3 seasons.
The series follows Aurelio Casillas, portrayed by Rafael Amaya, a drug dealer who just wants power and to be respected by everyone and who is wanted by the DEA and Mexican authorities.
